FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How do I get sponsored using this website?

You register as a PB Sponsor "PBALLER", set up your profile.  Your profile is your resume.  Make sure you fill it out completely, including your placement in tournaments and why a company should choose you for a sponsorship.   If you are on a TEAM, you then create the team through your application control panel.  Click on PBallers, then under the profile menus, click on applications, then click on teams.  On the team screen, on the right side, you will see "Create".  Click the create link to create your team.  If your team is already set up by another member, search your team and join the team.  Some teams are set to private will require you to be approved by the administrator (creator) of the team.  Now you are all set with your personal profile and your team profie, you can submit your info to companies.  Submit your profile along with a Cover Letter to prospective sponsors by clicking on their "Submit Resume to [Company]" link. If you submit as a team, your members will need to individually approve the offers for the team to be sponsored.  If the offer is sent personally for you, then the offer will be directed to you only.  You will simply have to accept the offer to be sponsored. 

2. Once I fill out a my profile and submit a resume, will I have a good chance of obtaining sponsors?

Yes, you will have a great chance at getting sponsored.  PB Sponsor works hand in hand with the companies so that each and every request is looked over thoroughly.  You may see results the same day you post your resume.

3. Do I need to pay to get a better shot at a sponsorship?

No.  Simply fill out the registration and get your resume to the sponsors.  Once you receive a sponsorship offer,  then you pay a one time membership fee of $39.99 which will be good for one year of date of purchase.  You will be able to receive an unlimited amount of sponsorship offers for one year from the date you pay for the membership.  If you receive an offer you do not want to accept or want to wait on, simply just hold off and wait for more offers to come in.  

4. Do I set my team up as the member or do I set my self up as the member?

Set your self up as the member.  Once you sign up as a member, you then set your team up in the Paintball Team group application.  Once your team is set up, your team members can link to it when they sign up at PBSponsor.com.  When submitting a resume, you can send the resume out either as a team or an individual.  To accept an offer as a team, all members must pay before the contract is released to the team members.

5. I set up my profile and now I want to change it.  Can I do that?

Yes.  You just log in and and hover your mouse over Profile, then click on edit profile, edit details, or change profile picture.  You can change everything EXCEPT your user name.  To change the user name, please email us at tech@pbsponsor.com and we will change that for you.
